Rouge the Bat's doodle, with a couple color splashes here and there, done in two to three hours, give or take.This is the base I'll use for the 6th day of the Marathon, but I decided to upload the rough base just to get some feedback... Sonic characters (specially the facial structure) are waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone (in fact, this is the first time I draw one), so I guessed I might as well show you what I'm gonna work with.

well, the facialΒ structure and everything fit spot on with both the original art style, and yours. My only thing is I'd make the head just slightly bigger, as sonic characters usually have much larger heads, so you'd probably get away with a bit bigger. Also, I'd personally prefer a more frontal positioning, but then you'd have to worry about colouring her different coloured patches of skin/fur. It looks amazing as it is either way.

Out of your comfort zone? Sure fooled me! She looks great, and you chose the sexiest of the sonic characters for your first time, so that's awesome.
Only point of criticism: The right wing looks a little bizarre. I get that it's coming out towards us, (what's that technique called? Foreshortening?) but it somehow doesn't look quite right. Though I suspect that if you draw the wing perfectly accurately, (with respect to the left wing) then it would cover her face. What a dilemma.
