Kithood: - Raccoonkit was born along with his sister, Rabbitkit. They had another sibling, but they passed away shortly after birth. Their parents, Rowanflame and Littletree did love their kits, but as Raccoonkit began to grow, something began to take form. His shaggy fur around his face gave him the appearance of an elder, a trait for which he was teased by his denmates for. His parents tried to be supportive, but it became obvious it made them uncomfortable too. Rabbitkit seemed to be the only one not bothered by his appearence, making the young tom overprotective of her. Despite the bullying of the other kits, Raccoonkit and his sister were apprenticed at the right time, becoming Raccoonpaw and Rabbitpaw.

Apprenticeship: - The rude remarks didn't stop during his apprentice moons. His mentor always told him to ignore them, but it always affected his social life. Little kits were scared by his old appearence and strange young voice. His only comfort was with his sister, and the elders who told him stories and sympathized with him. As he grew older, the scraggle of his fur thickened, to the point where he looked like a retired warrior. He became a recluse, after being rejected by a crush and any potential friends. He began to simply focus on being a logical warrior, wanting to surpass the others his age. His thoughts became private, and angry outbursts began to limit themselves, though they still happened. That's when the sickness happened.
Rabbitpaw had suddenly come down with a bout of greencough. And no matter what could be done, her condition only got worse. Raccoonpaw would stay long hours with her in the medicine den, until the point where he was forced away to avoid sickness. Despite his hopes, Raccoonpaw's sister was lost to her ailment. He was devastated. He spent almost days out of camp, until his old mentor and his elder friends convinced him it was not safe. The whole clan even began to cease their harsh words, and when he finally pulled himself together, he was named Raccoonstreak.

Warriorhood: - During his recovery, Raccconstreak had taken a walk out of camp, straying near the border, where he found a young kitten by the name of Felix. After brief conversation, he felt sympathetic, from how the young tom had been treated by Twolegs, and... even memory of Rabbitpaw's love for kits. So he took young Felix back to camp,where he was accepted by a queen, and taken care of. He didn't show it, but the safety of Felix relieved him greatly. Morningstar of course, wasn't fond of taking in a kittypet, which was probably why she gave the newly named Caracalpaw to him for an apprentice.

Raccoonstreak surprisingly didn't blame the medicine cat, and even made her his first friend since Rabbitpaw. Echowhisper was the only one he truly opened up to. He even managed a weird acquaintance with Morningstar. Despite the obvious annoyance and discomfort her flirtations brought him, something about her lively nature sparked something in him. And yet...he still felt something in him missing...of course he would never admit it.
It wasn't long before Morningstar had passed away - all 9 lives stripped so easily from her as she met her end on the thunderpath. Raccoonstreak was virtually shocked as he sat vigil for his leader. Eventually, Tangledburr took her place, though the ragged tom felt himself growing wary of the him - led to believe that the tom would only lead them into war and bloodshed. It was during this time that the scraggly tom spent most of his hours with Caracalpaw so that he could forget his grief even if it was for a mere second. Growing gradually closer to the tom, Raccoonstreak's love for his apprentice grew larger as he saw the tom as his own son. Not too long into Caracalpaw's apprenticeship, the young tom had encountered the kittypet's brother, relatively confused and irritated at the fact that Caracalpaw still felt the need to hide such things from him. One thing led to another, and it all ended with blood on both paws as the tom lay by himself in a puddle of his own contents. As time passed, Raccoonstreak hardly willed himself to eat or groom himself, causing others to grow worried for him. He would still train Caracalpaw, though the tension in the air was as thick as blood, and he would often avoid talking more than necessary. As if to spite the ragged tom, a huge earthquake rendered his world completely chaotic. He had barely managed to escape its danger as he ended up on the gorge. He encountered his apprentice there and saved the tom from falling into the gorge only to slip in and almost fall to his death. Raccoonstreak begged Caracalpaw to help him, though he noticed that the muscular tom had hesitated. Fearing for his life, the tom let go, only to be saved by Caracalpaw a half-second later. Pulled to safety, Caracalpaw glared at him before running away. Eventually, Raccoonstreak made it into refuge with countless other cats. A journey occured, rendering the skinny tom with aching bones and a skinnier frame, though he was able to pull through - just barely.

After moons of heartache in his own home, ignoring the protests of his clanmates and even Echowhisper, Racconstreak nearly cut all ties, severing himself socially from those around him. He could'nt stand the pain of pretending like it was all normal any longer. But then, one day, Caracalpaw had stumbled in after an accident in the river, and he couldn't control himself. The scraggled warrior almost tackled the larger tom, pulling him into a frightened fatherly embrace. Caracal didnt fight back. Somehow, without any words, a reconcilation was breached. Raccoon felt his heart heal. He was complete again. He had his son. And he was never letting him go again.

Raccoonstreak has pulled himself back a little, his adopted son was an adult and needed his space, but that's not to say he didn't remain glued to his side the first few moons after making up. He's still very matted, but he's always looked fifty moons older than he actually was. Lately, though, as he watched others around him find love and have kits...he found that he has a sort of longing deep inside.
