Why can't Richard Yearwood be brought back to voice DK? He did in the TV Show, Donkey Kong Country.

Because Nintendo wants Donkey Kong to act and speak like an ape. Besides, the TV show, like the Super Mario cartoons in the 1990's, were a separate continuity (especially with the redesigns they did to Candy, Funky, and Dixie).
