I know this is old but this would be so fun to have. I would love to see it in action in a youtube video lol. TBH it would cause a hell of a ruckus but be super fun to use at comic con. I would probably be asked by security to leave for firing it off way too many times lol.

I get that sometimes lol. Cons have been really uptight lately it's sad. The reason I feel this is, is because the security is almost always separate from the con so most don't understand the costume itself so they're more uptight than security who worked for the con would be. Like out here our convention center security is separate from Wizard World so a lot of guns don't get in. It's weird because they let in Anime Cosplays with swords that are over 10ft tall. My Mal Pistol which is resin took a bit of working to get it in. I keep the barrel solid. I had wanted to dremel a whole into it and then spray paint the inside to make it look more real but instead I keep the barrel whole. Before I got Mal's gun I used to use a denix replica pistol (Griswold and Gunnison) and for most cons it was totally fine because it was non firing. Well that was because the security at our Ren Faire's and our local comic con (not Wizard World) were hired by the con itself. I tried getting that Denix into Wizard World and it was a no go. The con even called the head of security to try and get them in because others had been turned away. it's sad but it happens sometimes. To tell you a secret most of the time I just hide my Moses under my browncoat and keep it in the holster. I won't even check it in and when I get in i'll go to a vendor and ask for a ziptie since they usually carry them for purchases.

Looks excellent! How did you go about building this? Use airsoft or non firing pistol, then fabricate the resin and metal parts as you needed, or is it totally scratch made?

it began as a full size .38 ring cap gun but most of the base gun was discarded as it was not up to the job i recon 89% of the build is scratch made
the real only part from the base gun was the firing mechanics and the ring cap barrel mainly because it was easier than building that part my self (lazy me hahah) the rest is fabricated by my self from resins and metal
