**Minor edit: wahey! A much less buttugly font for the text. Rejoice!I don't know what happened here, I think I got a magic pencil or something. This does not remotely look like *I* drew it at all! My stuff never manages to come out looking...quite like THIS. o_O Suffice to say, I'm a bit proud of this one. And happy it's finished because I became obsessed with it and hated taking breaks from doing it
What can I say? I drew Miroku indulging in a relaxing past-time so I had to do the same for Sango of course. And of course Kirara had to be in it because I'm cat-obsessed.
I've never been quite so happy with a piece of art before. Even if the backround is really simplistic, and the leaves I drew look REALLY wonky...meh, I like it. And yes, I did draw Kirara in that spot so that I wouldn't have to draw feet. I'm just so clever like that.
Sango is from Inuyasha and is the property of Rumiko Takahashi. I merely pay tribute.

I don't really know what to say, but i've just been staring at it *w* it's just so lovely~
I draw objects covering parts that i dont want to draw as well.. i'll have to over-come my fear of the general "lower half" of the body though

I don't know Sango too well, but I think this piece is definitely cool! I like the way the flowers are done because it reminds me of the way that I think Chinese Brush Painters would do flowers. Same with the leaves - one sweeping stroke
And where did you find the characters for the names?

Wanna know a secret. The flowers were made with a failed brush leftover from when I was trying to make a fireworks brush. XD Oh, and when you ask about the characters...if you mean how I got them there, I typed 'em. If you mean how do I know they are correct, it's because I read the manga in Japanese. And, they have a habit of calling out each other's names every five seconds so they get ingrained into your head pretty darn fast. XD Except, I had to actually look up Kirara's name to make sure I was using it right. I guess they don't love her enough to shout out her name as often as everyone elses! haha!

This is really quite lovely. Sango looks so peaceful and feminine. It's a nice contrast to the fierce fighter she usually is. I love the way her hair seems to be lightly blowing in the breeze. (Gee, that was poetic. x3)

Thank you so much. That's one of the reasons I like her character so much. She can be tough, but she can be feminine too. It's nice to have a character who shows that the two things are not always mutually exclusive!
