Description
SKARMORY, the Armor Bird Pokémon. After nesting in bramble bushes, the wings of its chicks grow hard from scratches by thorns. Although it is entirely encased in hard metallic armor, its bones are hollow and light, allowing it to fly freely in the sky at speeds of over 180 mph. It slashes foes with wings that possess swordlike cutting edges. These wings become tattered and bashed in from repeated battles, but they grow back completely every year, restoring the cutting edges to their pristine state.

About the only thing new about this was the pose, since I wanted to make a bit of an homage to our old Crystal sprites. After Generation II, we were nearly always depicted on land - although the HeartGold/SoulSilver sugi art does depict a regular Skarmory in the air, it does not do as much justice to us as I wanted. I went for a pose that highlights both the wings and our talons too, since although Skarmory can't learn Metal Claw, it can learn Sky Drop by TM.
By the way, the reason the evolution's name is blank is because I'm changing the name a bit. I don't know why, but Skarmorday doesn't sound quite as good anymore...
