- Ability: Water Absorb
- Evolves into Clamprey at lvl. 37
- "Although it is famous for drinking the blood of its prey, not all LEECHOUS are bloodsuckers; in some regions they have taken up a more predatory lifestyle, using their teeth to attack rather than hold on. The poison it secretes numbs its victim's flesh and keeps blood flowing; scientists are experimenting with it for medicinal use."

- Height: 6'2"
- Ability: Water Absorb
- "Given the proper environment and diet, a LEECHOUS can grow enormously; the resultant CLAMPREY is now a fearsome predator of other Water-type Pokemon. Its poisonous fangs are adapted for gripping and scraping flesh from its prey. Some hold on to the wound to suck the blood, others actively tear off bits to eat. A few populations have even become vegetarian and use their teeth to scrape off algae, using their poison only as a last line of defense."
