Personality:
She tends to be quiet when she first meets someone so she can observe what they are like, but she is outgoing and quite extroverted when you get to know her. She is playful and fun and enjoys being surrounded by people. However, like most, she needs time to recharge and will often spend a day inside reading or playing a game. She’s also a very sweet and affectionate person if she likes you enough and is a great person to talk to if you’re feeling down.
History:
Born into a very wealthy Irish family as Declan McDermott, she was the second, and last, child in her family. Her father was a fashion designer (he designed clothing for runway models before being asked to work with the English royal family) and her mother was a very famous artist.

As a child, she always dressed in feminine clothing, despite the fact that she was a boy. She collected stuffed animals, played with dolls, and /loved/ the color pink. Her parents were very accepting, as well as her sister, and when Fia was 12, she told her parents she wanted to be a girl. Her dad happily continued to make her girly clothes and her mother and sister taught her how to do her hair, makeup, and nails.
Although she was loved at home, she got bullied a lot in school, either for her femininity or her smallness. She went to a co-ed private school and was forced to wear a boy’s uniform, until her parents moved her to a new school. This new school was more accepting than the last and she made a lot of friends and became more extroverted. Before she left Ireland to go to Ouran Academy, her friend began calling her Fia, meaning deer. Fia decided this would be a much more fitting name than "Declan" and was known as "Fia McDermott" ever since.
