Well… This'll be the last fully shaded traditional thing from me for a while. *wrist cries*I hate that lamp. It's not positioned right with the rest of the image. I also hate doing sideways shadows. And bricks. And backgrounds. AND SPIKES.

It's Sonic the Goril-ah I mean Werehog. And Chip the Growlith. (Seriously, does he not look like a flying Growlith…?)

It was my 100th deviation at the time, and I was SO proud of it. Looking back now, I have come a long way. Though, still, angling on backgrounds is the bane of my existence… Details and shadows-wise though… I have much more patience for. I also do not smudge to shade anymore (if I do, it's by accident.).
I think to shade by smudging is sorta like cheating when drawing with pencil. I actually used to get called on that by art teachers, haha… Kinda takes all the hard work out of the image when you just lazily scribble then smudge it. I feel much more proud of this newer one because I took more time on everything- where as on the old one, I got very impatient with a lot of the details.
Though, I did want to add small bricks to the sidewalk like on the old one, but the angling of the lamp screwed it up, so I had to make do with the casual looking sidewalk… Meh.
This is my last picture for the night.
One thing I do like a lot though… Is Chip doesn't look derpy anymore, lol.

I have the WII version of this game, and this is definitely a good rendition of "Spaghetti land" as I call it. I enjoyed Spagonia, and especially the night stages and boss with his "You little" being said twice in a row when you hit him (I found that humorous). The only thing I wished they'd done is add more actual day stages instead of those challenges, not that I don't want them, they were my only source of Moon medals, until I went back and got the highest rank on the stages I could get which is "A".
I really liked the light effects on this one, it's just too bad it hurts your wrist. I think you did pretty good here and especially on that were-wolf hedgehog. And Chip the Growlith (I never thought of it before, but Chip does look kinda like a flying Growlith)
Granted, My favorite continent has to be Holoska, Partly for the fact that sonic Ice levels are usually pretty enjoyable, partly because the day stage music, seriously, I could listen to it for hours.

I did hate the lack of day stages. As much as I love Gorilla Sonic (lolz), I'd have loved more high-speed stages.
I wish I had the Xbox360 or PS3 versions, they're the best, I heard. I'm stuck with the PS2 version, though. I love the game to death, but the PS2 version could be better and have better control (Eggmanland was a nightmare because of this!). XD I've never played the Wii version. How is it?
I thought the highest rank on each level was S? : o then again, that might only be the PS2 version… I always hated trying to get perfect ranks on every level, haha.
Which reminds me. I had beaten the game 100% one time. All bonus material, all S ranks… Then my brother lent the memory card to a friend, and they sold their PS2 with my memory card still in it… With almost all of my 100% beaten games on it. You can imagine how mad I was.

I have to wonder what Chip was supposed to be…? He could very well be based on a Fu-Dog like Growlith/Arcanine, who knows
Holoska was one of my favorites as well ^^ There's actually a song someone did where they put lyrics to Holoska's theme and has Sonic singing it XD I'll have to find it, it's funny.

They made a PS2 version? I never knew that. Oh and, trust me when I say, if you ever play the Wii version, get either a classic controller or a GameCube controller.
And I completely agree with you on that one, Eggman land was a pain, but then again I'm horrible at any sonic game that isn't 3 and knuckles, hence why I was only ever able to get A out of S (Should have made that more clear) I had no trouble perfect ranking the night stages, it's those high speed day stages that I like so much that give me trouble.
Oh jeez, I hate it when that happens, you 100%ed a game and then something happens and the save is gone or something to that effect. Just out of curiousity, how many 100% saves were on that memory card, I can only imagine how angry you must've been. I promise, if I ever get my hands on that Memory card, the first thing I'll do is copy the da- err never mind, I don't know where I was going with that one, I forgot sarcasm is hard in text without it being obvious. What I was going to say was I'll express mail it to you or something. Though, the main thing I'd be interested in is the console itself: there's something up with mine, I may just have to take it apart and clean it, but I don't want to.
Dangit you, giving me more things to do. I'm gonna look up that Holoska song then, because I don't watch that many parodies and I probably should watch more.

Good thing I mostly play games on the Wii that give you the choice of using the controller XD I think I play the Wii Virtual Console more than Wii games themselves.
Sonic Unleashed could have been much smoother to handle. Though, I will admit, the story was good. And I love how it started off, too. But I still prefer Sonic Adventure 2 Battle to most other Sonic games (aside from the classics, of course). Though, that one is even harder to 100% run, lol. The new games just don't have that dark edginess I liked in the Adventure games- that aspect always made the story feel serious. I do love how newer Sonic games are played. Like Colors, I LOVED Colors, but it was way too goofy. "An entire alien race is enslaved and turned into fuel? LET'S MAKE PUNS THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH THE GAME!" X'D
Sonic Unleashed had a good mix of darkness and silliness, which is why I loved it so much.
If memory serves correctly, I know I had 100% on Sonic Unleashed, Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, ALMOST 100% Okami, and a few of my brother's games.
I wanted to take my brother's toolbox and throw it at him… X'D I'm sure that memory card is out there somewhere with all it's file wiped *cries gamer tears*
PS2's do tend to break easily. Our old one kinda kicked the bucket a while back, so I had to get a new one. Hopefully with yours, cleaning is a good solution.

Isn't that the one where you can't get all the Sun/Moon medals? D: ( I think it was Moon medals. Though, getting everything 100% in Sonic Unleashed is torture, lol)
Does the Wii version play well? The PS2 version is very wonky and hard to handle in some aspects XD especially on Eggmanland's day stage. *shutters*
