Boom, bby. My first Young Justice OC biography completed. I feel so happy. Yes, one more shape-shifter to add to the collection. I really like them. :'D

Why such an outfit for a shifter? Well, I designed it before taking into account just what her power was. Now, I really don't want to change it. It morphs along with her, much like Beast Boy's clothes. Yup.

1/6 (really, 7) of an RP team my friend and I are playing. Look out for more to come.

Alias: Shift
Affiliation: The Justice Guardians (covert super-hero team stationed in Tampa, Florida)
Power: Organic shifting. So long as she Nevea has ingested a sample of her subject's DNA, whether it be an animal or human, she can take on their shape and use it as she pleases. However, Navea's shifting abilities can't expand past organic entities, which means she cannot assume the form of any in-organic matter such as a boombox or knife. While she may have stamina that could put an all-star athlete to shame, she can tire quickly if shape-shifting rapidly within a short amount of time.
Strength: Shifting into animals (White Bangle Tiger being her default)
Weakness: Shifting into humans and primates (even her own human form requires concentration)
Quirks: Sometimes Nevea doesn't have control over when she changes shape. She has to be careful when trying new foods, because if the meal contains trace DNA of a blood creature she could unwillingly shift into that animal (usually, during the first occurrence only). Such a case has happened during a trip to the Zoo, where Nevea breathed in a hair from a White Bangle tiger and thus was forced to seek shelter because she couldn't stop the fur from growing on her skin. Changes like this also occur if she subconsciously wishes for it or is overwhelmed by a certain emotion.

Nicknames: Nev or Vea. Sometimes Nevy, though she is only called this when her friends ask her for a favor.
Age: Sixteen
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 133 lbs
Ethnicity: American (mix of European and South Africa descendants)
Birthday: December 31st
Occupation: Unemployed, still gets an allowance
Goal: To protect metahumans and innocent civilians from scum. What else is there for a hero?

Good Points:
> Caring -
She will always be the first to console or help someone. Let her know your bad news at your own risk, though, because sometimes Nev doesn't know when to quit "making you feel better".

> Optimistic -
She has a scary positive outlook on life. If you fail, just try again. Is that so hard? She doesn't think so.

> Devoted - She possesses a strong sense of honor and duty. As such, it seems she's physically incapable of turning her back on anyone or thing she's emotionally invested into. This includes both her favorite people and work.

> Reliable -
Need a confidant to meet you in questionable places at 2am? Nev's your girl! Just give her a call, and she'll be there for you.

> Imaginative -
While she has no artistic talent, she is still creative in regards to planning and designing.

> Courageous -
A must for heroes, wouldn't you think? She's good at plowing head first into new frontiers. Perhaps too good.

Negative Points:
> Naive -
In her line of work, she really shouldn't be. But such a trait seems to come naturally to her. She has identified it, attempted to change it, yet she still falls back into the old habit of believing what she's told (or reads on the Internet because, ya know, the Internet never lies).

> Overly Sensitive -
She can get defensive quite easily, especially when it comes to comments made about her appearance. During arguments, she is the childish one, resorting to immature insults and the silent treatment afterwards. Forget trying to cheer her up if her optimism breaks. She'd become a depressed heap of numbed anger that no one could speak to.

> Disorderly -
If your OCD, please, don't enter her room. Your heart just may fail you. Nev is reliable in the sense that she can emotionally be there for you as moral support. Ask her to keep records for you and you mine as well burn then. They'd never been seen again. The same applies for CDs.

> Dynamic -
At times she can be a little...overbearing. In her team she is only rivaled in volume by Booker. You defiantly know when she enters a room. Her affection can make others uneasy, so it takes time for new people to warm up to her.

> Nosy -
The epitome of a snoop. If a secret is presented to her, she MUST unravel it. Make sure your stuff if locked up tight because if she grows bored then no one is safe.

> Bites off more work than she can chew -
This is her down-side of being reliable. Nev will always say yes to a friend in need, even if she has already promised to help another friend at that same time. She will try her best to do both and often times trying to fulfill those promises leaves her physically sick. She'll run a cycle much like this: promises to help everyone, screws up several promises, apologizes greatly, gets sick, resolves to give herself free time, repeats once more.
