IT IS DONE AT LAST! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉFor those unfamiliar with George deValier 's beautiful GerIta fanfic, Auf Wiedersehen Sweetheart,
the excerpt this picture's based on can be read in the link provided below in my 2011 version.
Speaking of which, I've changed several colors (ie, Antonio's hair, Lovi's eyes) to be more accurate.
I have no idea what I was thinking a year and a half ago, but Lovi's eyes are definitely not orange!
But man, this scene gets me every time! By the time Lovino's finally placed his trust in Antonio,
Antonio returns from being tortured and treats the man he loves almost like a stranger, afraid and lost. ;n;

Oh dear god... AWS made me sob for a good two to three days. It was NOT fun. and then I decided to read Bésame Mucho the day after and I looked like a freaking head of lettuce for a couple more days.
Like I said in the style change one, I like this style as well as the old style, but this style looks a lot more polished and realistic. I sound like a broken record now, but I just can't find any other words to describe it. writer problems
I like the way you draw Antonio, Gilbert and Ludwig in this one. I actually like this style a little more than the actual style! Especially with Gilbert and Ludwig. They look so perfect, or in Gilbert's case, awesome.

But thank you again, dear!! I'm glad you're happy with it because frankly, Gilbert was the toughest to draw for some reason. I just couldn't get his face or hair right, but I managed to finish, so I'm glad you're satisfied.

Really? Gilbert looks perfect! He's got that cocky grin on his face, which I LOVE. Between Gilbert's cocky face, Ludwig's stoic face and Antonio's look of confusion, I'm just at a loss for words.
