Awrg, feel kinda self-conscious posting this. *blush* I was in a very weird weird mood the night I started this. Working on something not-digital was highly therapeutic, and resulted in very weird symbolic and abstract things coming out.I'm not entirely sure what it means... I wasn't entirely sure what I was feeling. But for some reason doing this helped. I'm not usually the type to draw what I'm feeling, or do more 'artsy' things. Usually I just draw with the purpose of achieving something technical...
Done with Trias, Prismacolor Pencils, Brush pens, and a few elements in Photoshop. <3
I usually encourage and appreciate critique, but because of how emotional this piece is to me, I'm going to discourage it. Just this once. <3 Sorry

I love when people I watch submit things that are not they usual way of doing their art, and you can see talent then, because they're good at the things they try

I really like traditional stuff, and I admire people who can work with it and manage to do something beautiful at the end. Not all of us can D: well with tons of practice maybe...

But ok, I think those previous lines looked senseless. As for the drawing:
I love the color choices, specially the head, hair color and those eyes (the actual eyes and the markings)
Also, I love how is he holding that heart there <3!!

The moment i saw this, i kinda got a weird feeling of of it. It might be the flow of it, it might be the atmosphere, but it also might be how personal it is.
It's so tied up and at the same time, so relaxed and calm that i get mixed-up feelings, good and bad ones. I really like this, though, because it is so personal to you, can't really feel it out.
It's great how sometimes working with traditional tools, you get more yourself onto the paper? I always thought, that even though photoshop and painter and computers in general give us amazing abilities and allow us to achieve amazing results, theres just more intimacy between a person and a piece of paper, or any blank space that is to be filled.
Good job, and i hope it helped you go through whatever you might have been going through :]

This is so strange, it's like eye-candy. Staring at it makes me forget how sick and tired I am. It kind of draws me in and sucks out all the akward feelings I have.
I'm fascinated with the checkers though, how did you color those? Did you use a ruler and then careful color them in? They're just so perfect, I'm jealous.

Yeah, this is definitely different from your other works, I am incredibly attracted to the, uh, puffy thing around his neck (err, sorry, I've never known what those were called) and his hands, how his fingers are casting shadows on other fingers.

I'm partial to his GORGEOUS hand and the.. decorational slime (haha) all over him, especially the one on his eartuft :D augh so pretty, you should definitely vent emotionally by trad.art more (or just make trad. art more!) often, it's a proven fact it creates some awesome stuff ♥
