It started when she'd hit him in third year, an open-handed slap that might as well have been a close-fisted punch.
Ever since, he hadn't been able to get her out of his mind.
He wasn't obsessed, he wasn't! He'd never even liked the Mudblood. But he couldn't get her look of magnificent disdain out of his mind's eye. He burned for her, watching her in shared classes, the passion in his gaze camouflaged as dislike. At night, he ached for her to hit him again, to subdue him.
Draco groaned and came inside Pansy, while he thought of Hermione.
