This is the cover of the main menu in Age of Empires 1, without the overlay.I recreated this from an image I extracted from the game files with a messed-up color palette and an online screenshot with the menu and other obstructions on it. In order to fix the image, I determined which pixels had the same color (using the image with the bad palette), and then looked for those pixels' color in the screenshot. The pixels that were covered by the obstructions shared their color with pixels that weren't obstructed, so bucket-filling them per color pixel by pixel eventually filled in the blanks.
Hours of work, but a great and unique result: I don't think the clean version of this image exists yet anywhere on the internet, except here!There are 2 other resolutions, but since I can't find any screenshots of them and can't take them myself (at the moment), I haven't made fixed versions of them yet.
