It's really spooky: I've just finished re-reading Jonthan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Sussanah Clarke and so much of the final piece of the book has to do with mirrors showing you another place. This definitely looks like the chandelier isn't in the original room and the light in our room is coming solely from the mirror. I really like it.

I looked up "Jonthan Strange and Mr. Norrell", it's 800 pages long(!) and is now sitting in my Amazon shopping basket.
