I feel my breath constantly wastedI don't understand
I speak to you
But I don't think anything gets in
I feel like I'm always being ignored
You take nothing from me to heart
I understand you're scared
But what I say is the truth
I wish you would listen to me
I wish I could get you to overcome
But you are scared
And its easier to just ignore me
I try to be there for you
And I believe I do a good job
But lately I wonder
About the effect I truly have
You hear what I say
But I'm not sure you listen
I feel you're just trying
To make me feel better
I love you dear
But you must understand
I'm trying to help
And I hold your best interests
You need to leave that place
You need to be free of them
They aren't interested in your future
Just what they can get from you now
I'm sorry to say this
Again and again and again
But I'm trying to get you to see
They are why you are so stressed
I wish you would listen to me
I wish I could get you to overcome
But you are scared
And its easier to just ignore me
