"ARCHEA" è un opera 3D che rappresenta in maniera figurativa l'archeologia industriale, ovvero tutti quei complessi industriali dismessi per obsolescenza e abbandonati o trasformati per riutilizzarne gli spazi.

Archea in particolare è ispirata alla Centrale Montemartini, ex centrale elettrica ed ora Museo di opere classiche sito nella città di Roma.
Proprio come il museo da cui trae ispirazione, l'Opera fonde elementi e materiali classici quale il marmo con elementi tecnologici di ispirazione Steampunk, stile tipico delle vecchie industrie, con metallo, legno e rame.

E' proprio questa sua natura ibrida a tenerla bloccata, rendendo Archea incompleta. Nata per il futuro, ma invecchiata troppo in fretta e abbandonata, per poi essere incatenata ad un passato di antiche testimonianze, dall' anima presente che lotta per avere un suo spazio tra due passati che non gli appartengono più.

A rimarcare il concetto di Archeologia Industriale, la figura è rivestita di bende e i colori della sue parti tecnologiche richiamano quelli dei sarcofagi Egizi.

"ARCHEA" is a 3D work that figuratively represents industrial archeology, i.e. all those industrial complexes abandoned due to obsolescence and abandoned or transformed to reuse their spaces.

Archea in particular is inspired by the "Centrale Montemartini", a former power plant and now a museum of classical works located in the city of Rome.
Just like the museum from which it draws its inspiration, the Opera blends classic elements and materials such as marble with technological elements of Steampunk inspiration, typical style of the old industries, with metal, wood and copper.

It is precisely this hybrid nature that keeps it blocked, making Archea incomplete. Born for the future, but aged too quickly and abandoned, to then be chained to a past of ancient testimonies, by the present soul struggling to have its own space between two pasts that no longer belong to it.

To underline the concept of Industrial Archaeology, the figure is covered in bandages and the colors of its technological parts recall those of Egyptian sarcophagi.
