Tried to offset the spiky-ness a little by making him hold a ... okay, a SPIKY flower but still.

You talk about spikiness like its a bad thing... 
I love the thingy on the edge of the wing, it almost looks like an eye. And the plant is brilliant. I DO have a gripe about the mutated toes on the front leg though. Look like they've been broken a few too many times. But apart from that I can't find anything to criticize. Which means this is brilliant for YOU, which also means that I'm going to run out of words trying to describe it in non Rumi-fied terms.
p.s.: Rumi likes salivating hairy things.
p.p.s: you might want to watermark a bit heavier or people are going to steal ur stuff. Highest form of flattery, stealing.

The original was a gift and is framed already so I can't ink that now... unless I use my Ninja powers and sneak into their house to steal in back...
