Based on this poem by Lola Chit:
“Ode to Beginnings”
A handspan travels across eons of time and space
part their sea of stars as planets spin on tiptoe
because I have stumbled on my one lone rose
bleeding on a thorn and I said I love you
My rose died and I lived and my love grew a bush
that bloomed with a thousand roses never before seen in the land
O my love my dead rose lives and the fragrance covers me
and the waterboy beyond the sea roars with glee!
