I fortunately am not too addicted to technology, I think! I'm bored of it, and although it helps me in many things, I hate needing it more everyday . When I remember my childhood when people were kinder and there were more trees and birds around, and it snowed in the winters, I wish I could go back to the past when no computers were needed

We all are. Since the beginning of mankind! We can't survive without technology. People forget that even a wooden club was considered technology. Now if you mean electronics, that's a different story.

I like to admit that, too, being an avid user of my laptop and play games on two consoles (and a DS), but after Dad and I had this discussion about cell phones, I think I don't technically qualify

Not to be a downer, (since I am a fellow technology addict), but in 2013 they say there is going to be a solar wave that shuts it all down. Not sure I believe it, but if it does happen... Imagine the mass suicide! D8

Technology can be a wide range of things and not just cellphones, computers, and Mp3 players..
It can be dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens and stuff.
We need technology. But of course, I know you're talking about the first three mentioned.
