"There it is: The Line. A city in a single building, 170 kilometres long and 500 metres tall, running perfectly straight through the Saudi desert. It fell into decay and chaos during the EINDS pandemic, and now nobody knows how many people are inside. Supposedly there are warring gangs, crazy cults, even tribes of cannibals. No one's really sure, though, because people who go in tend not to come out."

"That's great, Rain. And you're about to remind me that we're looking for one guy in there, and we don't know exactly where he is, or even if he's still alive? Why are we doing this again?"

"Fifteen million."

"You said the magic words. Okay, let's go."

[The Line is a genuine thing, already under construction. I have serious doubts that more than a kilometre of it will ever be finished, though!]
