Viv: I played in "Minuet in G" for my eighth grade solo. It is one of the longest and arm-hurting solos I've ever done. To this day, I have the whole song stored in my memories. When you play your solo. Relax and pretend it's only you and your piano accompaniment [if you have one]. It helps settle down the nerves a lot.

I played "Minuet in G" last year. And yes, you are right. It is one the longest and painful sole ever! I still have the notes with me and I have some memories of each note and movement of it. Thank you for telling me that, I really needed some support on this sole. Somehow, I'm only one who's playing "Musette" in class and the orchestra director told me that this is one of the hardest sole in this year list. It doesn't seem that really hard, my arm and hands can hurt time by time but still it seems really easy. -by the way I'm in philharmonic-.
I'm sorry for writing this much, I don't really write long comments that so often but I just want to add some work on this one.

Viv: If you can, send me a picture of it. I want to try playing it. And yes, I can read treble notes. It's one of the perks about being a viola-player. You have a system to read bass and treble cleff

Viv: Don't worry, man. I make the music sheets that Tori, Mike, and I play so I had to learn how to read both clefs. It helped a bit that I learned a bit of piano in my youth.

Viv: The last clef you need to read is tenor clef, aka alto clef, aka c-clef, aka the clef that all violas play.
