There is a design, an alignment to cry of my heart to see, the beauty of love as it was made to be.

So, my great grandmother passed away this morning. She went peacefully after she said her morning prayers, which is I guess all I could have asked for. I'm going to miss her a lot and the more I think about the time I spent with her and the things we did together, the more it hurts. In her age, she was so funny and strong willed and in her youth, she was beautiful and lived through so much history of our world, it simply amazes me. I really regret not making time to see her the last time I visited and I think that is what is the most painful thing. This piece was a way to take my mind off of things and I was obviously inspired by angels and heaven. My Gram Gram really loved dogs, so I thought a wolf fit, despite them being the only subject I enjoy manipulating and working with anyway. I am sorry I didn't come visit and I am sorry it had been so long since I saw you. You will be missed and you will forever be so, so loved. Rest in peace, Gram Gram.
