The inhabitants of the Land of Red Orbs are among the most happy and blessed of people, as they are guarded by the most genuine of super heroes; the Angelic Giraffe in private, Super Smulis whenever anyone is in need of help or assistance.

The inhabitants of the Land of Red Orbs admire the symbolism offered by red orbs of an unknown crystalline material, which they have sculpted with the outermost care. This is, so that the orbs may resemble those worn by their hero.
For those interested: red is the color of love, and Super Smulis really does love her fellow Orb-Townians; crystal is a symbol for clarity; and orbs are symbols of eternity. In other words, the orbs symbolise the clarity and love offered by eternal kindness and protection.

Those who know me the best also know that I adore super hero-movies more than most others. Why, I do not know, but I guess it has something with the other-worldly and slightly surrealistic allure they offer and tempt one's imagination with.

As Smulis is a personification of all the qualities I wish I possessed, this picture was destined to be created sooner or later. I have had it in my mind for half a year or so, and the idea first formed on paper in February, among quite a few other ideas, on the paper that later became known as the +Page.of.1000.and.1.Giraffes+.

Though now it is done, and I think it is one of my better pieces. However, feel free to tell me what you think of it. Before that, however, contemplate the idea of that everyone has a small super hero inside themselves, just waiting to be discovered.
