My beloved Kusuriuri Cosplay.it was so much work but the wearing it is also much fun.
there was a single cherry tree at the book fair and we had to take pictures. :3

Choosing subtly patterned fabrics for this costume was such an awesome idea. And the little embroidery snow flakes just add to the feel of the series, which had many textures and patterns. It's my all time favorite Kusuriuri costume. And I love the socks. I mean, I'd wear something like that. They were painted, right? I particularly like how the pants came out, and the fact that they're not simply black. What fabric is that, it almost looks like velvet? Anyway, you were really inspired when making this costume. if it's not much trouble, what pattern did you use for pants?

My socks are the only part of my costume I'd bought. They are just normal tabi socks with a pattern. :'D
The pants are made from a light corduroy with a embroidered flower pattern. Origanal colour was brown, I tried to dye it darker because I liked the fabric so much but it came out uneven... which was actually really fitting for the costume so I used it.
I guess you are the first person who recordnised this. Which is pretty awesome for me. <3
The pattern I used for the pants were some simple ones for jogging pants (??? - ya know, those sloppy pants with elastic waistband). Just made them a bit wider and added a elastic band and ruffels under the knee.

No, sorry but a tutorial is not possible, the cosplay was so much work and I will not do it again for a tutorial. But if you have question, you can ask me, maybe I can help you.

i thought maybe you had the outline *the drawing part for when you make a costume not sure what its called lol o.0;* then you could post that so i could use it as a reference. i'll ask you a few questions once i start if you don't mind >< i have no idea how to go about making the actual robe and sewing the colour patterns onto it lol *is envious of your talent lol xD*

Ahhh the patterns.
I use some simple Kimono pattern, a friend gave them to me (I guess there a from a GothLoli but I'm not sure oO). I just change the sleeve form.
The pattern on the sleeves are simple patchwork.

Ich hatte selber vor im September auf die Connichi als Kusuri-uri zu gehen, aber nachdem ich DAS Kostüm gesehen hab glaub ich nicht mehr, dass man das noch toppen kann. Ich find das ja sooooo genial. Auch die Schminke dazu. Wo hast du nur diese tollen Stoffe herbekommen?

Die Stoffe sind von... überall her. Karstadt, Wertheim, Stoffmarkt, Idee, Ebay...halt da, wo ich grad was gefunden habe.

Die Perlen waren gruseliger Weise mit das billigste am Kostüm, doch frag bitte trotzdem nicht, sonst sterb' ich wieder tausend Tode! ~__~°
