Windows XP led to me finding your work on deviantArt as a 12 year old.

You are all acting like just because it is no longer supported by Microsoft it is completely dead! That isn't the case at all, just this year I was running Windows 2000, and all of the antiviruses and programs I needed where running up to date! Windows XP isn't dead just because Microsoft no longer updates it.

Window Xp the best operating system ever, why vista, 7 and 8 not being outstanding than this predecessor.

For some reason, and maybe also due to the many possibilities of customization, XP always make me feel "at home" and "warm" and somehow "used to"... Vista also gave me a warm feeling even though more clean and "empty" - when everything became cold in Windows 7 (just blueish) and boring (Windows 8).

My first time using a windows computer was with an NEC from the 90's that ran Windows 95. After that, I used Windows XP for the majority of all my computer needs- In school we had XP, and just when we upgraded to 7 I bought a computer for home use that ran/runs windows XP. Only last April did I upgrade to Windows 7, on the same computer that had run XP previously. I've made so much with XP and learned so much about computers from dealing with it and its many flaws. I thank thee and may you rest in peace, old fellow XP.
I still have the original hard drive that had XP on it inside my computer. Maybe I should boot it up sometime, for old times sake.

RIP Windows XP, the OS I used for literally 8 years straight before getting a new PC running Windows 8...

Does that stop you from using it? No.
XP is so old, i mean, what did you really expected? I had to die one day.

Good times, those were the golden times of customization and Windows UI innovations. I remember, when I got into the Beta of XP during my work at a PC shop, it was amazing. Oh well, nostalgia.
