backpack for my medic cosplay~!it opens up so i can carry things with me easier
made from:
foam core paper, paper tube, fabric bolt tube, 2 detergent caps, cookie box, tea container lid, treseme shampoo bottle, wooden dowl, wire, large lid (not shown but on bottom), styrofoam (on the inside on the bottom, plastic bag (lining on the inside), electrical tape, hot glue, acrilic paint, silver car spray paint. clear gloss spray paint.

That is awesome. I love the Medic, although he's a little slow at running AND doesn't have medical training. He just dices you up.

haha im not sure realy xD it seems to spread like a plague tho. the tf2 fandom is pretty huge here. i noticed last animenorth there was likely more tf2 cosplays than even naruto

lol i hope so... This year I'm gonna go to NYCC/AF, close to where I live and want/hope to see tf2 ppl there. I know last year there were tf2 ppl there but I never went to a convention before... this will be my first time! I hope there will be tf2 people there that also live in NYC!
I want to make "action" photos and funny short video clips with them!

I'm sorry to be a bother, but could you explain how you made it? I'm going to cosplay BLU medic at the end of the summer, and I need it to open too, but I don't know how to go about it...

how it should of been done is diferent from how i did it. i realized that i forgot to make it a seperate lid after putting it togethere and ended up going the long way but how it should be constructed is the entire box out of the foam core paper excluding the top (from the silver up) make the sides LONGER than u intend to have the white part of the box (the top of the white is about how tall the silver part will come to. then make the top silver part as a lid that fits perfectly over the white box. i held myn together with hot glue. also i lined myn with a bag taping it inside around the rim and at the bottom theres styrofoam on the inside to give it some sturdyness.
