Layers can be confusing. In order of a better management I always name them properly and put them into groups afterwards. (Talking of Photoshop, but I thing it will be the same with it in similiar programs.)

No it's because I created two layers and I forgot to fill them to being able to fill the lineart with them in order to color the page.
