Grown up in the Kåarlja district of Kortavva. His single father (a steel worker) regularly bacame violent and abusive when drunk, so he lived more on the streets and rooftops during "those days". he ran away from home at the age of 14 and somhow got a job on a river-freighter. The boat would go along the river and somtimes along the coast to Pårkka where he first got in contact with various extreme ideologies. The boat also wansn't just only a freighter. They would set up traps for unsuspecting boats if additional income needed to be generated. Probably Ellijas lax relationship to property and what is morally right came from this. After a few years he found himself back in Kåarlja caught up in a series of events that forced him to keep a low profile for some time. Back in this shithole of a city.
