I think it is well done. Your shading and lineart is really nice along with the use of color, it's soft and appealing to the eye. And come on, the cub is cute.
Possible tip for the BG with stars anyways, try using about 3-4 different sized stars. The bigger ones stay spread out apart and the smaller ones cluster together. You can also add subtle highlights to parts where several stars are close together with a soft brush and then using a overly, soft light, or color dodge. (easiest when using multiple layers). =3 But hey, the background isn't that bad! The way it is draws most of the attention to the cub so it's cool. B)
