Description Tezcatlipōca: Black mirror that smokes(''tezcatl, mirror; tliltic, black; poctli, smoke ') in Mexican mythology, is the lord of heaven and earth, source of life, guardianship and protection of man, source of power and happiness, owner of the battles, omnipresent, strong and invisible. Among the Nahuas, Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca are duality and antagonism.

His representations were painted with a special type of dyes with metallic reflections; He used to appear represented with a black stripe on his face and an obsidian mirror on his chest and on one leg shows an exposed bone where the foot should be, where he saw all the actions and thoughts of humanity, and from which a smoke who killed his enemies; the condition of mirror summarizes Tezcatlipoca, by the contrasts and dualisms that preside over all its functions, like a jaguar, the one that goes to the heart of the mountain (Tepeyolohtli), internal force of Mother Earth, the nocturnal sun; its emblem is an obsidian knife.
