I really need to draw some happier pics...Okay, the older one is Elrond and the younger one is Elros, and this is when the Sons of Feanor attack their home. Elrond is sporting some stylish Elvish sandals.
p.s. I edited this description to switch Elrond to the older and Elros to the younger...

This is adorable! But Elrond and Elros are twins. That's why it's cute that Elrond later has twins sons of his own Elladan and Elrohir...But this is precious! *sorry for the LOTR type pun...thing* They're so cute!

I really need to finish the Silmarillion...or however it's spelled. I got halfway through the explanation of the Gods and Goddess's and gave up...it bored me...I'm pathetic like that though.

Yeah. The Silmarillion rocks, but it might not be some people's thing. The writing style is unlike most books. I understand.
Elrond...well, he's not really half elf... he is slightly more elf than man... I figured the whole thing out once with the blood lines!...Yeah, I'm a nerd like that.

It's alright, I use to spend lots of time looking at those family trees too. ^^ I use to know a lot more, but I've forgotten it over the years. I was real big into it in Jr. High. I'm in college now, if that gives you a hint on how long it's been.

Heh. I wonder if you were like me and came up with all sorts of names. The book I have has a glossary, and you can look at definitions and create names. Like Mor=dark and wen=maiden or lady....hence Morwen. I never used that name though, I felt it over used. But I was obsessed with that glossary.

I think I cried reading the Silmarillion. Some of it is just so sad. It's especially sad when you can see the mistakes the characters are making, but the characters can't and you know something dreadful is going to pan out.
