Description Gah, I messed this up quite a bit, anatomy wise. D8< I screwed up her horns and her ears. Gaah.

This is one of my more unpleasant OCs, Irrth. She created the soul bead system in my series, along with the element circles that are used in the human realm. She can be full of herself sometimes, and she's known to find killing others boring, since it's so easy for her.

That huge soul bead that's above her hand most likely holds the soul of a powerful demon. The larger and more decorative the beads, the more stronger the soul. Pure souls are also quite powerful, but hard to find.

I also decided to take out the watercolor pencils again, and goof around some more. I'm trying to get better with 'em. I used my markers for her skin. Gah. It always washes out the shading, though. >: Mweh.

Inked with Micron ink pens. Colored with Prismacolor colored pencils, Derwent watercolor pencils, Prismacolor markers, and a colorless blender to smooth the background out. Acrylic paint was used for highlights. Minor editing done in PSP7 ( LOL OLD PROGRAM IS OLD. ).

Wow...the colouring! It's so smooth, and your shading and lighting is just amazing. You have such an unbelievable talent with traditional media!

Irrth's visual design is very well done. So imaginative and wonderfully colour-schemed. Her expression seems perfect with what you've written about her in your comment. And as for the hair...just plain wow!

I really wish I could use my own pencils just half as good as you can.

Thanks! I had a hard time getting that background smooth. The light greens were being stubborn. That and I'm not too good with my watercolor pencils yet. Though, I decided to go over the watercolor with one of my colorless blender Prisma markers, and it created a nice, smooth result. :3 I might do that more often.

I actually like coloring with green. I think it's because all my greens get along well when I blend them.

She's more awesome coloured than I could imagine from her sketch ref. xD And as usual I adore your traditional colouring I wish I could do that. ;_;

Oh gosh. Wow. Just... wow.

This is incredible. I love the greens. XD It's just so gorgeous. =3 Everything looks like it should be there. Kinda like an old book on mythology, ya know? XD

Wonderful work. I love every bit of it. She somehow slightly reminds me of a cross between Elfa, Mira, and Negami. XD Though not as violent, I hope.

Thanks. :3 Yeah, It was another one of those drawings where I did the background as I went along. Since her outfit resembles trees/branches, I decided to make some eerie-looking vines and stuff to go along with it.

As for the threshold and stuff--I have a habit of drawing things that way. XD I just like the way it looks. Plus, it's fun to see what I come up with as I work along, rather than going from a background I sketched out. It looks like it could be part of a garden leading to a temple that worships her or something. I guess I'll never really know what it is, besides something to frame the drawing in a less noticeable way.

Yeah, she somewhat is a myth in the series. XD Considered a god, and she made all those marvelous things for other demons, even though humans and other creatures were able to pick up on the magic. Too bad she let it get to her head. D8

She's violent when she wants to be. Though, she finds violence pretty bland and boring, and just gets it over with and moves on. XD She does enjoy stealing souls about as much as Kalare, if not, more. Nice lady, huh?

XD That's so cool though! Backgrounds take me forever to think of, or I just don't do them. XD Or, in the case of my charcoal stuff, I usually make it all black. =3

XD I think that's awesome, how you can work the image like that. I find it really neat too. XD

D8 Don't they all do? Yeesh. Myths and powerful people or demons get an ego the size of Texas and thensome. XD

Oh wow this looks really cool I love her design she certainly looks unique I think n_n Beautiful job on the colouring I just love all of the earth based colours you used and all the colours look so bold and eyecatching. Amazing work on the shading and highlighting too, especially in the hair is all looks so even and smooth 8D and I adore the mixture of colours you put into that main bead :3 the background looks really nice and detailled too. Great job on her expression and also on her stance n_n you drew the anatoym really nicely very nice piccy!!!!! ^_^

Thanks! It's fitting she's got the earthy colors--her name is based off of the word Earth itself. XD Plus, other feline demons in my series refer to her as the mother of all FeliDae. :3

Thanks! I really wanted to do something different for her outfit, since she's known to be more of an Earth magic user. I thought greens and blacks would fit, and they go well with her personality, too.

This is absolutely amazing. I love the bold colours, and being Pagan, the imagery really appeals to me on both an aesthetic and spiritual level. Who is this character, where does she come from? Is it mythological, or from fiction you have read, or are writing? I would dearly love to know more!

She's an original character of mine. She's a feline demon in a series I've been developing for a long while. I suppose you could relate her to a nekomata from Japanese mythology. They're cat-like creatures that have been known to control the dead.

In my character's case, she traps souls and uses their energy in battle.
