Out from the darkness came a light from a two-chambered lantern. The Earth Messenger appeared alone. She seemed a bit irritated by something. Perhaps it's because no one is lost tonight. Or, maybe, no one is as lost as her.

Edit: Forgot to mention that ~indubitanter inspired me to do this one. Her drawing, "Shelter Me", especially. [link]

Argh I'm mad at myself right now. XD The bristol I did this on is crooked, so I had to crop a bunch of the border out, which really looked nice with this. >: FFFFF.

So this is my persona, Ess, in both of her forms.

Lately I've been a bit angry at a bunch of things and people ( NOT YOU GUYS. ILU ), and this didn't start out with Ess looking mad, and I had NO idea she would turn out so...sinister-looking, maybe? I didn't highlight her eyes like I normally do, since I wanted to keep that look in her eyes.

The fur tufts are bright on purpose. I kind of wanted them to stand out like flames.

I decided to reflect myself a bit more in this piece, by doing both of the styles I'm known for--my realism and my anime stuff. 8D I like the conflict they create.

Inked with Zig Millennium ink pens. Colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. Highlights done with white acrylic paint.
