Painted in Photoshop and Painter.Perun is the Slavic God of lightning and War who lives in a great oak tree. Veles is the God of the Underworld and has a pet serpent.

No not exactly. He is sometimes symbolized by an eagle.
I looked at some illustrations with him and he sometimes has an eagle with him. I thought it was a nice contrast with Veles as a huge serpent in the underworld.
