"To get back to drawing and making art, I felt the need to express my art styles as similar as they may look alike, so putting them as an opposition with my favourite show seemed interesting ; this concept also reminded me of Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs du Mal", a serie of poems all defined by oppositions between beauty and ugly, good and bad ; Francis Bonnefoy was a good choice as opposed to all the other characters looking all the same with a not so flattering appearance compared to him, putting him at his best advantage"
