Comdemned to the deep... It was a common occuring in villages near the shore, to have their criminals or unwanted pushed over the cliff into the sea below, tied up to heavy load so they could not save themselves...
In most case, the luckiest died from hitting a rock at the end of the fall... too fast to be painless...
Others had to suffer to have the air taken from them until the lungs filled with water and death took its due...
Some were pushed down when a predator was in view, and in that case too, luck counted a lot, for either the predator was hungry and dealt his own sentence.... either he was merely curious and inclined to help...

Bahari had been drifting beneath the waves, as he saw the small black shape fall down... swimming to it, he realized what it was, and his one thought became 'how to save the girl'... for he knew that if he brought her back up, she would be supplicied again as soon as he left...

... Old drawing, new colors, and new scribble... i got inspired... ^^
