Commission for WillowTree on FlightRising of their dragon Nox.This was incredibly difficult to draw, I apologize for butchering the crackle gene ;A;
And the shading was more difficult than usual. It's apparently been a while since I've done lighting from below XD
Also, I kinda went off a limb and assumed that because he's a Plague dragon that he's evil? I mean, red eyes and all. So here he is, being all evil and the like.
And I totally realized too late this was supposed to be a colored sketch... bah, whatever

Thank you. Yeah, I use Photoshop CC. It's pretty nice, but I'm still learning how to use it.

I just ordered Manga Studio 5 (it's arriving tomorrow, I'm ridiculously excited) before that I've just been using gimp which is pretty much useless when it comes to actual creation and not just cropping an image and strengthening contrasts

Hmm, I would have recommended Paint Tool Sai...
And GIMP really really sucks so it's probably gimp not you...
Also, I've been using Photoshop for almost a year now.

well, I'm hopeful that this program will work out for me...do you have any experience with Manga Studio? And yeah, GIMP is...really lame. Mostly it's the lagginess that bothers me :/

Well, I've never heard of Manga Studio - usually not a good sign XD
GIMP is probably the worst art program out there. Microsoft Paint is better.

well I've been trying it out and I really enjoy it (then again that is compared to GIMP so...) basically it's more focused on illustration and comics than regular painting but that's sort of more my thing so yeah I really like it! The drawing tools are especially nice
