This is beautiful but as you said his sword is off, I am guessing you meant to draw Tokijin which is the one he needs more often. And that one is more... of a broadsword? I am not entirely sure but, Tokijin isn't a Katana I don't think... I wish I had a reference at the moment I could show you. Since his other sword isn't out.

Wow, that is really impressive. You're right, the Katana is bit weird, but the rest of it is really great. Katanas have more curve to them. And the blade thickness is the same until it tapers into the tip. Yours is a constant taper like a scimitar or something similar.
