Description

Round 3 of 3

GUESS WHO THEY ARE

Also - forgot to say in the previous ones: the siderians are in proportion to each other. So their relative size can give some hints (and that's why I had to swap them around a bit, so nr.3 ended up at the bottom)

It’s October so that means that many artists join the ‘inktober challenge’. I like that initiative and thought to push myself into some more traditional ink-sketching again. Two years ago I made the ‘naked siderian challenge’ and thought to do it this year again but now with 3 rounds - 15 siderians in total.

Answers: Siderian variations - 2

--------------------------
Text from the previous round:
I did made this challenge with the idea to show just how much variation there is between individual siderians. I want to show it is not only coat colour and fur type that makes someone unique. I think that is only natural, hence my confusion when I see people take one line drawing, change the colour and call it a different individual. I can understand this with adoptables but not really with true ‘characters’. Siderians are real persons to me (e.g. I see them as my spiritual companions) so that means that they are unique beyond just their fur.

Let’s see if you can recognize them too! - just leave a comment if you have an idea!

I’ve also removed all jewellery/accessoires (if they have them) as well. Only scars (and whiskers) are still visible. ALSO: it helps to pay specific attention to eye-  ear- and muzzle shape (and profile if visible). Also the back-line and relative paw-size can be quite telling.

I’ll ONLY show siderians who have a published referencesheet - see here www.deviantart.com/felisglacia… and who have NOT been in the previous challenge.

Also – some people seem to get shocked by the fact that siderians are very narrow, long and slender (especially in the rear) which shows better without fur. Now know that many felines are actually quite long-lined and that felines tend to have very narrow, flat butts – see tigers. This flat impression is further enhanced by the way the flank skin is attached to the middle of the hind-leg, which hides most of the muscles covering the femur. So this doesn't mean that they are all skinny! I can't see any ribs on these siderians.
See here some examples of tigers (which are still much heavier than siderians, who are more proportinally better comparable with the Eurasian lynx) showing the feline narrowness.
