my first attempt at the water-splash technique thing! ^__^ what do you guys think?GUYS PLEASE GO TO FULL VIEW ITS SO MUCH BETTER
UPDATE: i fixed the photo now guys, it looks a helluva lot better than it did before, so you'll be happy. and i tried fixing the shine in the background ( i fiddled with it in photoshop for like, and hour ) but it just didnt come out the way i wanted it to, so i decided to just leave it. hope that's okay ^__^

Great job! it is really good. I like how you got the water impacting the top of the apple. Try getting different perspectives, too....like shooting the photo at eye-level or even a top view. These perspectives could definitely add to your creativity with splash.

oh....oooh! if you did that in your sink,then try using a glass to put the water in, and maybe a shallow bucket so the water doesn't get everywhere..then your subject is portable!

Absolutely perfect...I would not change a thing. I love how the water splashes up and then looks like a stem. Wonderful!!!

The picture looks really good.
What I recommend is first and foremost, getting rid of the shine in the background. If you did it in a white sink, it might work out a little better. Second, I think you should try setting it on to Continous Shooting and try and take the picture when the water is splashing up even more. It is kind of hard to see the splashing since the stream of water is difficult. I know it's hard, but maybe just try it out?
But the colour of the apple looks really good (it pops) and I really like the left side, how it looks like the water is sort of sticking to the apple.

i did have it on continuous shooting, i just for some reason don't really ever use it. ill try that next time i decide to attempt this
