Ah! Joys of ol' school RPGs .

It's done back in 2002, inked, scanned and coloured using a normal mouse.

During that time, I had always wanted to draw Adol and Feena, for some reasons. As simple the story line was, Feena has some sort of a charisma that really makes me fall deeply for her emotionally. Probably because of the wonderful piece of game music (Feena's Theme), or probably there's something to do with her amnesia of who she really was: A forgotten Godess who protects the world of Ys.

I sorta experimented with solid and soft shading during that period, and as much I still find it a little odd, it seems to look somehow special for me to keep this effect. But what I really liked the most is how I handled the orange sky and clouds. That's really a chore for me to paint that time .
