hi, you could use a poarizing filter to get bluer skies. but since I didn't had one with me you can make the blues darker afterwards. I use lightroom for that where I drop the luminosity for the blues. but it can be done with photoshop or something different as well.

well, I'm afraid there won't be a really cheap solution for this since a fine art print is not really cheap to do and for me as an artist I also can't give away my art for free. so for one 12x18 print that would be 39β¬ plus shipping (from germany to india I guess)

I really like your title choice... it is reminds me of the troubles Tibet has had. "dark clouds" being the problems. Good job!
