Maybe your methods? Β I'm not sure if I should be using cell shading or blended or soft shading... everything I do seems to come off muddy, inaccurate, and gross, but you seem to have a pretty good hold on these things.

In my opinion I have that problem too, but I'm glad you think otherwise <3

Hmm, on these digital painting styled works I work mainly on one layer and put some effects, lightning and some stronger shading above the main layer.
Remember to leave some sharper edges to places where shadow is darker :3
I've been thinking on doing a livestream sometime, so maybe that'll help? ^^
