Description Jemima and Radio at the OH Spring Warm Up. They are in the combined training, this is the dressage section. Radio is doing a very slow extended trot x)

I'm pretty pleased with how this has come out - I think doing the watercolours has made digital work actually a lot easier! Just ignore the odd shape of Radio's head, very Welsh-Arab looking when he's supposed to be a warmblood xP

Story to come at some stage

---------

It had been a long drive.
Jemima hadn't really wanted to have Tom driving them to Oak Hollow, given that it was a six and a half hour journey in the smaller-than-it-ought to be horselorry and she was still not over him to a ridiculous degree. But Charlie didn't drive and Marion had never trusted Jemima enough behind the wheel to insure her on the lorry. Marion was now too pregnant to even drive, Aaron had declined to attend the show and that left either Tom or Emily - and part of Tom's job description was 'Show driving'.
Better than Emily, anyway, she thought as she stared grimly out of the window. Charlie and Tom were having some hilarious conversation about something to do with they last time they went to Oak Hollow, which probably meant they were recounting the stories that Marion had told them about Jemima, and all she could do was stare, stony-faced at the passing Yorkshire countryside. Joining in was not an option. Usually she would be more than happy to laugh at herself, but today she just wasn't in the mood for it.
"Just don't get drunk again, eh Jem? You're awful when you're drunk," Charlie suddenly said, grinning and playfully punching her on the arm.
"What are you talking about?"
"Why, they way that every time you get drunk and a single male member of the Oak Hollow staff are around you decide that you absolutely must have sex with them."
Jemima scowled. "I never have though, have I?" she muttered, turning back to stare as intently as possible at a field of sheep.
"Yes, but it's not for lack of trying, is it? Remember the look on poor Marcus's face at the Gala Dinner! It was fantastic Tom, you should've seen her.."
At that point Charlie launched into a lengthy retelling of Jemima getting drunk and embarrassing herself at a high level, international competition. Thankfully for her, he had stopped involving her in the conversation and she could zone out and look at the sweet little lambs all bouncing around.

It took until they arrived at Oak Hollow before Charlie had finished telling Tom the various excruciatingly painful details of Jemima's Karelian Adventure. Continuing to grimly ignore the pair of them, she was just now bothered about getting the horses settled into some temporary accomodation, finding a quiet place to eat her rather depressing packed dinner - and after that drive, she was fairly keen to find somewhere she could get a bottle of vodka! Probably a bad idea though.. true, Radio was well prepared and a very sweet stallion, but even he might be a less receptive ride when his rider had a hangover.
Almost as soon as she thought she'd found a good spot to hide, behind a tree a little way away from the house and the main action, a familiar blonde head seemed to be bobbing past.
She might be able to deal with Charlie and Tom to an extent, but to actually see and speak to Marcus - which she couldn't actually remember doing the last time around, she'd just been told about it later - was a little too much. And so she hid behind her tree until he had gone past.
Vodka might actually be a good idea...

I actually liked his head the most. Shows how much I care for breed characteristics, huh?

I like his head, I think it looks quite sweet. It's just it's not a warmblood head at all!

Well, not all warmbloods necessarily have warmblood-looking heads.

They are indeed! Such shocking behaviour at a dressage competition
Can you tell that I get bored of just drawing faces over and over?

I know I would be bored drawing them, but I enjoy looking at all the individual faces.

If I did them all the same I wouldn't be able to do them x) But I like giving each audience member a little personality. Some of them do get more than others though!
