Abby and Jay Leno paved the way. The release of Abby, our main carry at the time, was the first sign that this wasn't going to be a smooth ride.

...on the bright side The Streamer for TPP released a bunch of old TPP Red save backup's including 1's from before Jay and Abby were released, so it's almost as if they were revived from the dead
...turns out (thanks to people importing them into Gen 2) that Jay Leno is Female & Abby is Male... (and False Proffit Flareon Martyr is female despite what the odd's to the contrary were)
