You used a commission widget, and I'm pretty sure you can only collect actual money with them instead of points. Don't quote me on that though because I never use them, but if you wanna get points you should set up a donation thing if you haven't, or have people gift them (but if you ever wanted to convert those into money you wouldn't be able to because only com widgets can do that)
