Oh, I really like the color scheme. I think I'm a sucker for tans/browns. Looks super fluffy too which is always fun!

Just a couple of things kind of bother me.. I hate to ask but like if this is a guy why is he so.. um... his crotch is kind of empty if you get what I'm saying? Even the girliest men still pack something down there, especially in that underwear we'd see it. I notice on the back image it's a little bulgy which made me wonder if he's tucking it, but it's kind of off looking and it makes the butt look spread out which adds more to my confusion.

Second is the underwear strings that hold it up are making a tangent line with the stomach color. What I mean is that it makes it look like the underwear is floating, because we can't perceive the string AND the fur separation, if that makes sense. I would make the underwear strings higher up, like a V-thong thing where it hangs off the high-hip, or thicker to fix this.

Lastly, his toes/paws(not sure?) seem awfully tiny, like as in thin, I don't think anything could support themselves on feet so thin, so I would recommend making those more in proportion with his figure so it feels like he has some weight to him.

Anyway I hope this was helpful, honestly I think my favorite part is the horns. The pattern is super neat.

haha. well, thank you for your input. i'm not very skilled, but i'm usually aware of the problems my art possesses, i'm just not.. skilled in certain departments enough yet to fix things like these. i don't usually tend to go for.. "realistic," just whatever is pleasing to MY eye, personally, since i'm self-taught. but it's really nice to know what i can do to improve, especially in the eyes of others! <3

also, i didn't make this design, did, i just purchased it from them. ;D and yes, i'm a sucker for tans/browns too, which is why i bought him! haha.

thanks again!

Well hey that's the point of an art site, right? To get critique to improve, which is why I thought I would ask questions and make suggestions.

Honestly it's not even about being "realistic" to a far extent, it's just about making sense. Boy pack some luggage, and in that tight of clothing it will show no matter how cartoony the style(Unless it's a kids show anyway) Pretty much while he could have a retractable penis like a cat, but even then the balls would hang outside of the body. They do that as a cooling mechanism because if they were in the body the sperm would burn to death.

And don't let being self taught be a crutch! I took college "drawing classes" and let me tell you, all they do is sit you down in front of naked people and say "draw them." That's it. Especially with the internet at your disposal there is no limit to what you can learn and grow as an artist, all it takes is patience and draw from LIFE. Even if you don't want to draw realisticly, heck I'm not a realistic person myself I prefer cartoons, but ask any cartoonist and they will tell you that you cannot get any better without learning from life.

DeviantArt is also wonderful for tutorials on like.. EVERYTHING. I bet you can find some awesome help from the right people! It will help you grow and develop a style all your own, I guarantee it.

yep, that is why i post here, to get feedback on my art, which is exactly what you did, and believe me, it did help! i just need to study anatomy more often. x)

but yeah, i've been drawing for 10 years now, and i'm still struggling with finding my own style! but i think recently i've been making some giant leaps in my progress thanks to the people here on dA!
