Phew! Finally I managed to finish it! Been a long while there...
There's a funny history about it - first I wanted to paint a pair of wolfs on the meadow. I sketched them and I thought that I would like to draw them wings. And the I thought that a meadow would look strange - and this came out
sorry for the quality - these are two scans put together

to be honest... this was my first watercolour painting I done in a long time - and I wasn't sure how it turned out (tried a new technique - as usual 
and about the paws - just between us - they only look good but they aren't good at all

I still prefer coloured pencils much much more frankly speaking
and a wolf watercolour painting is waiting for me now - thanks for reminding it with your comment
this was painted on a new and really good paper - maybe that's why I didn't manage to ruin it

You've got skill with watercolours there, I love the fur details on the wolves, if I did this they would be grey blobs hehe!
Lovely background too, did you use rock salt crystals or something by any chance? Just that it looks like the effect often achieved with that technique, I'm curious!

I've used salt only on the sky - I thought it would be boring just to gradient it so I decided to make this experiment I heard so much about
you know that you should really rarely use black in watercolour? but in this subject - difficult

Hehe yeah black must be difficult to avoid with this subject, but the gray tones have come out nicely.
