Another try at animation, this time with something different from running. I'll keep it as a sketch for now, but I plan to do a second version with more defined lines and maybe color. It's probably lacking more frames and care, but I decided to leave it like this for now, it was pretty exhaustive as it is. I was highly inspired by this video . It helped me understand a little more about fennecs actual movement and corporal language, so thanks a lot to the uploader!
In case you can't really tell, that thing she's trying to intimidate is a spider. It was originally a live scorpion, but I thought she looked a little too brave facing it, and in reality i'm pretty coward with arachnids, so I decided to change it for a more useless task. I never kill anything on purpose, not even spiders. Instead I try to catch them on jars to take them outside...but in foxy terms, I think it would be something more like this xD.
This took me 67 frames, making it my longest animation so far. I hope to have the patience to finish it soon.
I drew the frames using Paint tool sai and animated them with Imageready.

Aww thank you very much! >w< And I hope I have the patience to finish this one XD I'm also working on other animations, but yeah, you need a lot of patience to make them and I don't always have it XD But I'm pretty sure the inspiration will come back soon, they are very fun to make if you are in the mood :3

And not really. I did an approximation to 15 per second, but that may be wrong. Do you have a more precise way to know? :/

Well, typically, animation shorts for youtube and uploading purposes should usually be 10 fps, for television cartoons they should be 12 fps, and for CGI animations (like Pixar) they should be 24 to 30 fps.
i normally work with 10 fps or 11 fps when I'm uploading my animations to youtube. ^^ though 15 isn't too bad if you're up of a challenge.
